
This is an exciting opportunity for a Front Office QA Engineer to join a global investment bank with their front office Equity IT team.
Responsibilities:
– Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to prepare test cases
– Conduct impact analysis on system changes and pro-actively voice out any risks or concerns
– Perform manual testing to ensure the quality of all front office trading systems (e.g. Fidessa, ULBridge, Algo, FIX connectivity etc).
– Work closely with business analysts and developers to clarify the requirement and resolve any issues
– Keep proper tracking on issues and follow up with BAs and developers
– Prepare test report for the QA Manager
Requirements:
– At least 1 year of work experience in Equity Trading Systems, ideally in electronic exchange connectivity, FIX client connectivity, DMA, ALGO etc
– Knowledge on Fidessa and FIX connectivity
– Hands-on testing experience on Front Office applications in sizable securities brokerages. Familiar with software evelopment life cycle
– Knowledge in FIX protocol is a great plus
– Solid experience on Windows, Unix and Linux platforms, ideally with Perl / Shell scripting. Strong SQL scripting skills
– Excellent communication skills in English – you will be working with a global team
– Bachelor degree in Information Technology (or related disciplines) from a reputed University
– Candidates with 1 month or shorter notice period are preferred
