Our client is looking for a Front Office Technical Business Analyst to contribute to various projects including strategic growth projects, and platform enhancements requested by business users. You will be working with project sponsors and stakeholders including Trading, Risk Manager, Product control and contributing to the Risk, Finance and Treasury Team.

Job Responsibilities:
– Working closely with stakeholders in Rates, Rates Options & Structured Products Trading
– Working with the business, analysts, peers and engineers to understand and deliver requirements.
– Defining business requirements and identifying the best solutions to business needs
– Gathering business, system, and functional requirements by conducting detailed interviews with business users, stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
– Work with colleagues in the middle office, valuation control, and trade capture to understand, analyse and deliver the most appropriate solution for the business requirements
– Enhancing & supporting front office risk systems using a range of tools
– Reporting on the progress of the projects on key milestones and performance indicators to senior staff in IT and Trading
– Ensuring requirements, functional specifications, and unit testing requirements are well understood and participate in all aspects of analysis, design and implementation

Job Requirements:
– Strong numerical skills or computing background with a degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computing or equivalent experience
– Prior experience working closely with trading and markets front office users understanding requirements, identifying solutions and driving the changes
– Specific experience of leading the delivery of analytical deliverables across complex work stream(s) or project/programme dependent on the change being executed
– Product knowledge of Interest Rate Derivatives or Structured Products
– Accredited with industry-standard Business Analysis, Lean and Agile qualifications
– Motivated and proactive. Able to manage their own workload and deadline expectations
– Strong communication skills including experience working with multiple stakeholders
