My client, a leading investment bank with global offices, is actively seeking an experienced development manager to join their prime brokerage business in Hong Kong.

The role:
– Guide/lead a team of around 7-10 direct reports
– Propose an actionable strategy to reach above target
– Liaise with a European counterpart to deliver concrete progress to above initiative
– Bring Asia’s perspective, constraints, and knowledge to global peers
– Act as the main point of contact between HK and Europe on the HK development team
– Develop or enhance prime brokerage applications
– Manage users’ requirements and provide in-depth business analysis duties

– Proven years of front office development using Core Java (8, spring boot)
– Proven experience in Agile, TDD and continuous delivery (Jenkins, Sonar)
– Knowledge of Docker (public cloud is a plus)
– Knowledge of equity finance, Delta1 and Prime Brokerage highly preferred
