Our client, a leading investment bank in HK, is looking for a software engineer in Core Java to join the Front Office Systems development team. It is an exciting development role with ambitious greenfield projects.

Responsibilities:
– Develop new systems and enhancements on Front Office Trading, Order Management Systems, and Inventory Management.
– Work with the technical team on technical design and technical solutions review.
– Perform functional and technical design and develop high-performance using Java.
– Work closely with key stakeholders for business requirements
– Create technical and functional specifications and documentation
– Provide system operation and support for users

Requirements:
– Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields
– At least 3 years of software development experience in Core Java.
– Knowledge of the Capital Market Trade Lifecycle is a great plus
– Development exposure to OOD paradigms, multithreading, concurrent, and distributed programming concepts.
– Good technical exposure to distributed systems, Spring framework, Linux, SQL/database, etc.
– Exposure to J2EE, JMS, In Memory Data Store, TIBCO EMS, Solace, or other messaging platforms
– Experience with Bloomberg / Reuters APIs for market data and reference data.
– Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
