My client, a leading hedge fund with global offices, is actively seeking a front office application support engineer to join their expanding technology team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, automating and deploying various critical front office trading applications.

The role:
– 1st and 2nd level application support for various critical front-office applications
– Identify and resolve issues with the production environment in a timely manner, escalating and coordinating incident response where applicable
– Work closely with the development team to identify, diagnose and solve problems with the trading platform
– Perform software releases to the production environment
– Responsible for automating the deployment of various services and work closely with the DevOps team to implement the necessary standards

What you offer:
– 3+ years experience at an Investment Bank, hedge fund, or exchange supporting trading applications
– Strong scripting knowledge
– Experience working with FIX, OUCH, ITCH, or similar protocols
– Exposure in SRE or DevOps is highly preferred but not a must
– Experience building and maintaining release automation services preferred
– Expertise in Linux operating systems, with an understanding of the network layer
– Ability to multi-task and work in a face-paced environment
