Our client, a leading investment bank is looking for an experienced Fixed Income IT Project Manager to oversee the delivery of technology projects within our Fixed Income division. The IT Project Manager will play a critical role in partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, and other project managers to ensure the successful execution of projects that support the transformation of Fixed Income Trading. This role requires a strong understanding of fixed-income products, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving technology solutions to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
– Project Management: Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
– Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and senior management to identify project goals, scope, and deliverables.
– Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies.
– Execution Oversight: Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, address issues as they arise, and ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
– Team Management: Manage a team of cross-functional resources, including developers, business analysts, and testers, ensuring effective collaboration and resource allocation.
– Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure project compliance with internal policies, Mandatory Exchange and Regulatory Change, and audit requirements.
– Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular project status reports and documentation, communicating project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
– Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced professional certification is a plus.
– Proven experience in IT project management within the investment banking industry, specifically in fixed-income trading technology projects.
– Strong knowledge of fixed-income products, including credit, rates, swaps, credit-related ABS and Loans, as well as related trading systems and technologies.
– Robust understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
– Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing complex projects, including multiple workstreams and vendors.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
– Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar applications.
