Our client, a global investment bank, is looking for a proven Java or C++ Developer to work on their core financial trading system. Financial Background is NOT compulsory.

Responsibilities:
– Develop/enhance greenfield trading systems including connectivity, market data, and data-warehouse
– Work closely with business users to design/develop front office and middle office systems
– Work closely with regional/global development teams on large scale development
– Resolve performance issues / bottlenecks provide innovative ways for improvement

Requirements: 
– Proven large-scale development experience with Java or C++
– Excellent understanding of data structure
– Excellent knowledge of real-time, mission critical systems/applications, high-performance architecture, coding styles, multi-threading, etc.
– Financial background (especially in EQ) is preferred but not required
– Exposure to equities trading systems would be preferred
– Ability to learn quickly and take self-initiatives
– Strong communication skills in English
