A high-profile EQ IT project management opportunity with a global investment bank in HK; Drive regional IT Equities Delivery, connecting to Asia Trade markets, strategic relationship with senior business stakeholders, front office users, etc.; Excellent growth potential

Our client, a leading global investment bank, is looking for a seasoned equities project manager to join their strategically growing team.

Responsible:
– Work closely and build strong long-term relationships with electronic product lead, business heads, business COO, and IT functional heads.
– As a senior project manager / delivery manager, scope, plan and execute projects for the EQ business.
– Ensure clear project/programme status reporting, proper risk management/mitigation, project governance, and successful end-to-end ownership of the project delivery.
– Direction & management for the project team – allocating tasks, monitoring progress, ongoing control/co-ordinate the work of the project team.
– Manage the testing phase of the projects, collect the testing feedback for change and adjustment.
– Allocate resources in an effective manner that ensures project delivery, while developing skills and experience of the people on the project.

Requirements:
– 8+ years of technology experience in a global, reputable firm.
– Knowledge of Equities trading in front office space is preferred.
– Proven experience in large-scale, mission-critical project/programme management in a global financial firm.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills.
– Ability to work directly with senior business stakeholders, desk heads, senior technology managers, front office users, etc.
– Ability to manage a regional team; proven management/leadership skills.
– Strong business analysis experience would be a strong plus.
– Previous experience in development and an understanding of SDLC.
