Our client, a leading global investment bank is looking for proven enterprise data network engineers and a team lead to join their growing team;

Responsibilities:
For Lead:
– Lead a team highly technical data network engineers in Asia to support distributed network infrastructure in the region and globally
– Proactively identify improvement opportunities within the existing network infra including standards and processes

For Engineer:
– Be a team highly technical data network engineers in Asia to support distributed network infrastructure in the region and globally
– Proactively monitor and support a global network infra including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls

Both:
– Provide incident, problem, change management within a global “follow-the-sun” model
– Provide expertise in resolving high impact network incidents; Conduct root-cause analysis
– Communicate with business during projects and incidents
– Be the point of escalation for offshore L1/L2 incidents; Provide management oversight to offshore teams
– Provide operational acceptance of new deployments; Provide documentation
– Vendor management and governance
– Participate in on-call duties in rotation. Week-end work expected

Requirements:
– Proven years of experience in mission-critical enterprise network engineering / level 3 operations
– Advanced skills in a wide rage of network technologies and expertise (CCDP, CCNP, JNCSP, CCIE strongly preferred)
– Strong knowledge of fundamental networking principles and as well as specific technologies to support high-speed network
– Expert level ability to decode packet captures and identify network / application issues
– CCIE R&S is strongly preferred
– Financial network / application (market data, client / exchange connectivity) experience a strong plus
– Ability to learn new technologies quickly
– Excellent communication, interpersonal and team work skills
– Sense of ownership and high level of practivity
