A rare, high-profile senior technology infrastructure leadership opportunity with an elite global investment bank in Asia. The selected candidate will be leading a sizeable technology team across the region and will be responsible for modernizing and bringing the infra platform to a new technical level

Responsibilities:
– Oversee the Asia technology infrastructure platform including compute engineering, network, cloud, big data, devops, automation, etc.
– Work closely with the various technology and business stakeholders to ensure efficient collaboration and delivery of business centric infrastructure & application solutions
– Ensuring the high availability and security of all technology systems, network and related applications.
– Define technology strategy aligning with the group business direction. Identify latest technology and development in order to help the firm be ahead of the industry competitions.
– Manage infrastructure programs across various business teams, vendors and technology teams. Ensure the use of best practices in design and build of infrastructure.
– Define appropriate IT Security measure, policies, best practices and guidelines.
– Manage and control various infrastructure projects’ budgets and expenses.
– Manage a regional technology team, with appropriate job training, coaching, and performance review.

Requirements: 
– At least 10 years of enterprise level infrastructure engineering
– Strong experience of design, build-out and operation of enterprise level infrastructure supporting mission critical systems
– Genuine expertise in one or more areas of infrastructure and/or related technologies (compute platform, network, devops, high-performance computing, cloud, big data, automation, performance tuning, application development, etc.)
– Strong management experience across a regional prospect. Strong ability to perform team transformation and changes.
– Program management experience on planning, budgeting and architecture design.
– Strong verbal and communication skills to interact with senior management, stakeholders, regional/global teams, etc.
– Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science / Engineering from a reputable University.
