Our client, a leading insurance group, is looking for a Digital Product Scrum Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of our digital product portfolio. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify business needs, define product requirements, and ensure the successful execution of digital initiatives through the Agile/Scrum methodology. Your exceptional analytical skills and business acumen will guide the development team toward creating best-in-class digital solutions that enhance the customer experience.
– Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to elicit, capture, and define business requirements and prioritize them within the digital product backlog.
– Conduct thorough business analysis, researching market trends, and identifying opportunities for new digital products or enhancements.
– Collaborate with product owners to translate business needs into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear and measurable requirements.
– Guide and support the development team throughout the Agile/Scrum lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
– Analyze and communicate complex business processes, user journeys, and system integrations to ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation.
– Identify risks and dependencies, and actively work with the team to resolve any blockers, ensuring seamless delivery of digital products.
– Participate in the continuous improvement of Agile best practices, sharing insights and lessons learned to drive process efficiency and effectiveness.
– Collaborate with user experience (UX) designers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure successful user-centric design and delivery of digital products.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and differentiation within our digital product offering.
– Act as a digital product subject matter expert, providing guidance on the strategic direction and roadmap for digital initiatives.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role within the insurance industry.
– Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices, with hands-on experience working in a Scrum or Kanban environment.
– Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
– Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– Knowledge of insurance product offerings, industry regulations, and competitive landscape is preferred.
– Experience with digital product development and emerging technologies (e.g., mobile applications, artificial intelligence) is a plus.
– Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) are advantageous.
