My client, a well-established crypto trading firm with a global presence, is actively seeking a DevOps Lead to join their aggressively expanding technology team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build out the team from scratch and help improve their cross-platform applications to provide a better experience for internal and external users.

The Role:
– Support existing applications, fix bugs and respond to customer issues
– Find the root causes of application errors, and escalate serious issues to the appropriate engineers
– Provide quick and accurate feedback to internal users
– Develop and maintain in-house internal-facing operation platform
– Constantly find ways to improve development documentation and support handbook
– Work with customer services, infrastructure production support and engineers to deliver non-functional business requirements
– Minimize errors and operation challenges by incorporating automation
– Use third-party monitoring tooling or build whatever tools to get the job done

What you offer:
– Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
– At least 5+ years in mobile development or support
– Strong experience in backend development and/or supporting mobile frontend and API systems
– Excellent communication ability in both English and Cantonese.
– Familiar with API data flow, Linux, application monitoring and troubleshooting.
– Understanding of software development lifecycle
– Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
– Willing to drive changes to everyone including yourself
– Experience with AWS
– Experience with Docker-based CI/CD
– Experience with SQL
– Experience with third-party monitoring platforms (e.g. NewRelic, Datadog, AWS Cloudwatch)
