Our client is a well-known enterprise, where they have a robust and massive digital tech platform for their business. They are looking for a DevOps CI/CD Lead Engineer in Hong Kong to lead their delivery management.

Responsibilities:
– Manage the application release, change management, CI/CD pipeline, etc.
– The application platform has a regular application release. Responsible to track issues that occurred and monitor those problems with possible solution suggestions.
– Work with the development and configuration teams to define each release of code, dependencies, order, and time needed for consistent deployment.
– Manage the knowledge base of the application and provide recommendations for future prevention.
– Building the CI/CD process through the whole deployment environment.
– Provision, manage and provide ongoing support for continuous integration (CI) platform (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, etc.)
– Provision, manage and provide ongoing support for continuous delivery (CD) platform (IBM UrbanCode and Ansible Tower, etc)
– Implement the DevOps model. Gradually automate the infrastructure setup as Infrastructure as code.

Requirements:
– Around 8 years of experience in software development with extensive focus on application release management.
– Familiar with CI/CD, Agile, DevOps, TDD development delivery.
– Experience and knowledge of Cloud and Kubernetes are a great plus.
– Proper Software Management experience in routing the issue to the right engineering team to address the known issues.
– Practical background in software engineering principles across software delivery.
– Strong understanding of the whole Software Release Management process.
– Experience in Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, IBM UrbanCode, Ansible, Elastic Stack and AppDynamics is preferred
– Experience in package management and build tools, e.g. Apache Maven, Gradle, Nuget, NPM
– A strong problem solver and able to take initiative in solving problems
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
– Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University
