Fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join a world class, leading organization.

Specific Role Responsibilities:
– Desktop Support across Front Office to Back Office
– Support and problems solving of Microsoft Windows and Office
– Participates in windows server management and pushes
– Ability to troubleshoot simple networking issues, including TCP/IP and network protocol knowledge
– Ability to troubleshoot and do first/second level telephony support for PABX, Dealer Board and voice recording system
– Ongoing support of local Market Rates services, trading systems, market feeds and clearing systems
– Assistance with upgrades and rollout of new software

Preferred Skills:
– Scripting (Unix/Wintel)
– SQL/Excel-VB
– Working knowledge of Xtra/Bloomberg
– User-training
– IPC/Turrets/PABX/Voice
– Networks (Cisco knowledge)
– Wintel (MCSE knowledge)

Requirements:
– The right candidate will have sound technical experience in fast paced working environments
– Good experience in Banking and Trading Room environments,2-4 years
– Possess a sound understanding of Microsoft operating systems and products
– A working knowledge of Unix and Market Rates services eg Bloomberg and Reuters products and knowledge of trading and clearing system is highly desirable
– Bachelor degree from a reputed University

Candidates with support experience outside the finance industry will be considered IF they have a good Bachelor degree from a reputed university.
