Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Data Governance VP to join their Data Management team. Great exposure and career development opportunity. This role will take part in the upcoming Big Data Project.

Responsibilities:
– Work with the Data Management Team to establish information management standards and data management lifecycle controls.
– Develop and improve data governance standards including records management, data quality, data integrity, metadata, modeling, and data provisioning.
– Assist and Engage with the different Data Owners to steer the Information Architecture standards and frameworks, considering data residency regulations.
– Interface with senior management and different data owners in the data committee.
– Evaluate and design data strategy with the team on Data Management and Data structure planning.
– Manage the data solution and process delivery, in relation to data governance function for data control.

Requirements:
– At least 10 years of experience in IT Data Management, Data Governance, or Datawarehousing.
– Participate in establish Information Architecture standards, policy, design, and delivery.
– In-depth knowledge of data modeling, data mining techniques. Experience with data governance from the financial industry.
– Strong experience in adopting information assets between the business and technology enterprises.
– Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University.
– Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese.
