My client is a Global Management Consulting Services Firm that provides a platform to match knowledge and experts according to their business needs and demands across different industries such as Technology, Finance, Medical Devices, etc. They are now looking for a Data Engineer to join their expanding team. The position will be mainly working on designing machine learning/deep learning platforms to extend their Chinese language NLP libraries and frameworks for clients from Greater China, in order to improve efficiency in expert matching.

Responsibilities:
– Develop a Machine Learning/Deep Learning platform and algorithm by extending the Chinese language (Traditional/Simplified) NLP libraries
– Work closely with software engineers to develop applications and analytics tools using modern technologies and tools, including JavaScript, Python, SQL, etc.
– Conduct research and evaluate business needs to match research questions and project requests to knowledge and experts
– Work with stakeholders including Development and Client Solutions teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs

Requirements:
– Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Science or related disciplines
– 4 Years+ Experience in working as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist specializing in deep learning/machine learning
– Proficient level of knowledge in JavaScript (NodeJS), Python and SQL
– Familiarity with BI Tools such as Tableau
– Knowledge of Chinese NLP or related discipline is highly preferred
– Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in English
