My client, one of the leading investment banks here in Hong Kong, now has approvals to further add to its Cybersecurity team as the bank continues its growth in the Hong Kong and APAC region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
– Industry SME with extensive knowledge of cybersecurity processes, procedures, policies, standards and requirements – especially with Financial Regulators in Hong Kong and the Greater China region (HKMA, CBIRC etc.)
– High profile role as a strategic partner to the business to ensure the bank’s cybersecurity alignment & compliance with regulatory requirements across Hong Kong and Asia.
– Key point-of-contact and advisory/guidance to IT, as well as being the escalation point for security issues/investigations/incidents pertaining to Information Security and Cybersecurity matters.

Requirements:
– Strong understanding and proven experience implementing, setting up and managing information security and cybersecurity strategies covering local – APAC regulatory requirements (Hong Kong, China etc.)
– Strong understanding of security strategies and technologies covering network infrastructure, network security, server and compute platforms, configuration management, vulnerability management, patch management etc.
– Well organised and strong ability to work independently within a large matrix organisation.
– Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.  Simplified Chinese is a definite advantage.
– Industry qualifications such as CISM, CISSP etc. are also an advantage.
