A top tier investment bank is seeking a Japanese speaking Compensation Specialist to join their APAC team based in Hong Kong.

Principal Responsibilities:
– Coordinate with the regional and global C&B teams to manage the compensation processes for Asia
– Work closely with the payroll vendor, reviewing calculations and monitoring the process
– Handle tax related payments and enquiries
– Perform compensation analysis and reporting
– Maintain compensation details within the database
– Handle enquiries relating to compensation
– Participate in ad hoc projects

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in analytical/numerical field (Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, etc)
– 3+ years of compensation experience, preferably within banking industry
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English and Japanese
– Strong analytical skills for in depth analysis of data
– Strong technical proficiency with Excel and Word
– Excellent organizational skills
– Ability to liaise and influence at all levels
