Our client, a leading enterprise with a large infrastructure and cloud platform, is looking for a Cloud Storage Senior Engineer to design, build and manage their next-generation cloud network infrastructure. The selected candidate will be driving the storage services for one of the largest cloud networks and platforms in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:
– Manage the overall cloud storage infrastructure services design and built. Act as a technical SME for the storage and backup technology in both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
– Provide technical advisory in the design, implementation, and support of the cloud network services with high availability and scalability.
– Work with Infrastructure, network, and application teams across network technical issues.
– Provide guidance to the network and cloud engineering team across troubleshooting and investigations.
– Work with the Security Engineering teams to ensure the storage environment has sufficient risk and control oversight.

 Requirements:
– At least 8 years of storage and backup engineering experience in an enterprise environment with either a private or cloud infrastructure environment.
– Extensive experience in supporting a mission-critical, high-availability storage environment.
– Expertise in storage and backup technologies with EMC, HDS, Netapp, HPE, or IBM solutions.
– Experience in HyperConvergence, Convergence, and/or server virtualization solutions.
– Strong automation mindset, experience with modern tools and platforms across Cloud,  Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, etc.
– Strong experience with disaster recovery and related technology in the storage space.
– Experience with Private and/or Public Cloud environments like AWS, and Azure.
– Experience with scripting and automation development using Shell, Perl, Python, etc.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field required.
