Our client, a leading large enterprise is looking for a Development Manager to build a solution platform particularly for performance monitoring and log management, which enable Cloud Reliability Engineering. They have a large technology and software portfolio where they are looking to build an effective platform to provide system monitoring and optimization. Excellent opportunity in building a sizeable application platform.

Responsibilities:
– Manage system development, release, and support of the software platform which provides cloud monitoring and optimization. This role is also responsible to define project scope/schedule, resource planning, and risk mitigation across the projects.
– Lead the development team across the entire SDLC across requirement collection, analysis, system design, development, SIT, UAT, implementation, and support.
– Work with the architecture and infrastructure team in technical design and development.
– Manage and ensure system quality, compliance, and security controls.
– Define the technology standard in monitoring and logging. Setup a CoE and provide standards to other technology teams.

Requirements:
– At least 12 years of software development and team management experience across large-scale enterprise projects.
– Development management experience in enterprise web platform technology.
– Experience with application performance monitoring and log management solutions for large scale application platform written in C/C++, Java, .Net, React Native and NodeJS.
– Experience with monitoring and log management tools such as BMC TrueSight, SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Dyntrace, Splunk, ElasticStack, etc.
– Cloud Infrastructure environment exposure, such as Azure / AzureStack, VMWare Cloud Foundation, etc.
– Experience with CI/CD, Continous Monitoring (CM), and Infrastructure Automation.
– Sold SDLC management experience, with experience in Agile / Scrum would be an advantage.
– Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
– Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science from a reputable University.
– Leadership skill and team management experience
