Our client, a massive Cloud PaaS technology platform, is currently looking for a Technical Leader in the Cloud Platform in providing Cloud Native Software, API Solutions etc for the vast technology teams. They have a team of very talented engineering team with international culture. The selected candidate will be part of their senior technology leadership to drive cloud technology adoption and development.

Responsibilities:
– Lead the Cloud Platform Engineering team in enforcing a PaaS by-design in building the Cloud Kubernetes Platform development and operation.
– Engineer and Manage the platform services across API Management and Gateway solutions.
– Work with IT leadership to align and position the overall Cloud strategy, framework, and roadmap to build the cloud platform.
– Lead the software development team in building platforms across design and developing new services and applications.
– Lead the technical evaluation and selection of technology by overseeing gap analysis studies, feasible alternative solutions, and recommending modifications.
– Build strong cross-functional relationships to deliver Cloud platform products for PaaS and IaaS across the application lifecycle
– Manage the engineering team including both onshore and offshore across the development sprint.
– Work with technologists to uncover pain points and opportunities to accelerate the delivery of the cloud platform.

Requirements:
– Proven leadership experience in leading technical resources and teams.
– Experience in architecting cloud platforms (Private and/or Public) – AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Tanzu VMWare.
– Hands-on experience in building, and engineering Cloud Native Software like API, Istio, Kafka, Fluntd/FluentBit, Prometheus & Grafana, and Thanos.
– Hands-on experience in the adoption and provision of multi-cluster platforms on AWS EKS or Azure AKS.
– Good understanding of microservices design patterns, data structure, algorithms, and system integrations.
– Excellent communication skills to work with all levels of people in the organization.
– Certification in the public cloud such as AWS / Azure is a great plus.
– Solid knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices
– Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science related discipline from a reputable University.
