Our client, a leading financial group in the region, is looking for a Cloud Platform Architect to drive their ongoing technology expansion. The selected candidate will be leading the platform and architecture design and build. It is a great position for someone who wants to build something recognizable and well-known in the market.

Responsibilities:
– Drive the design, plan, and implementation of the cloud architecture and platform services.
– Deliver architectural design on Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Services which support the scalability of the platform.
– Establish architectural and engineering principles to maximize the cloud delivery services and capabilities of the platforms.
– Guide the infrastructure architecture strategy, roadmaps, and blueprints.
– Evaluate options on DevOps and application framework design and build options.
– Manage the cloud infrastructure provision, maintenance, and cost monitoring.
– Manage and forecast cloud infrastructure capacity and budget.
– Manage and review SLAs with technology services providers and vendors.
– Implement and support API and Machine Learning platforms.

 Requirements:
– At least 15 years of application platform and cloud experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
– Experience with Cloud-based platforms like public cloud AWS, MS Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Experience in a leadership role in driving technology delivery.
– Understanding of cloud-native applications, microservices, containers, and Kubernetes with Helm, etc.
– Understanding of software deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
– Understanding of EA frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman etc.
– Application security design (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, data protection with various programming APIs and tools) is a great plus.
– Cloud Certifications including Amazon Web Services Solution Architect or Microsft Azure Solution Architect are a great plus.
– Excellent Communications skills in English and Cantonese.
– Bachelor’s Degree from a Reputable University.
