Our client, a regional financial institution with a large regional wide platform is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Manager to drive their ongoing technology expansion. This role is a managerial role that manages the Infrastructure services supporting the Asia Cloud technology. It is a great position for someone who wants to build something recognizable and well-known in the market.

Responsibilities:
– Lead the ongoing management and support of the Cloud Infrastructure platform services.
– Work with the business and technology stakeholders in understanding the need to align the cloud services with the technology strategy.
– Manage the on-perm servers and storage system administration.
– Review infrastructure and systems setup as well as migration.
– Review the existing platforms and future infrastructure design.
– Evaluate options on Infrastructure design and build options and provide the best recommendations to the senior management.
– Manage the infrastructure team and develop the necessary cloud skills and experience.
– Provide Infrastructure services and best practices across the technology teams.
– Manage and forecast infrastructure capacity and budget.
– Manage and review SLAs with technology services providers and vendors.

 Requirements:
– At least 10 years of infrastructure management and operations experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
– Managerial and leadership experience in leading a large-scale infrastructure structure.
– Experience with Cloud-based platforms like public cloud AWS, MS Azure, and private cloud infrastructures like VMware Cloud or Azure Slack would be a great plus.
– Strong infrastructure experience across servers (Windows & Unix), SAN Management, databases, networks, and security.
– Experience with OpenShift Platform, Encryption technology, MDM, Backup, and Recovery would be a great plus.
– Strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Project Management Certifications in PMP and Prince2 are preferred.
– Cloud Certifications including Amazon Web Services Solution Architect or Microsft Azure Solution Architect are a great plus.
– Excellent Communications skills in English and Cantonese.
– Bachelor / Master’s Degree from a Reputable University.
