Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a senior executive leader to head up their Offshore Delivery Center in mainland China. The selected candidate will be based in one of the major China cities and provide leadership for over 300 staff there. It is a high profile position that works along with other global and regional leaders in the organization.

Responsibilities:
– Provide management leadership for the Offshore delivery center including people management, talent management, delivery management, financial management, compliance etc.
– Build a strong relationship with regional stakeholders in both technology and business to ensure a smooth outsourcing delivery.
– Provide clear situations up-date and advise to senior executive, in future offshore delivery strategy and model.
– Build a strong firm culture across the delivery center which aligns with the firm global culture.
– Provide operational standards, guidelines, and compliance locally.
– Resolve conflicts in the delivery center. Build strong middle management locally to help run the center.

Requirements:
– Leadership experience in managing offshore delivery center in mainland China.
– Strong management experience with an over 100 people delivery center.
– Strong people management experience across talent management, operational efficiency, building firm culture, etc.
– Experience with a large international enterprise ideally in the financial space.
– Excellent people engagement and relationship building skills, to work with regional and global stakeholders.
– Excellent communications skill in English and Mandarin.
– Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Management.
