Our client is looking for an experienced Senior IT Manager to join their team covering front to back office retail brokerage systems.

Responsibilities
– Define strategies on application development, support and maintenance on systems supporting cash equities, futures, fixed income and derivatives trading
– Establish, implement and oversee standard procedures and policies
– Lead, manage and coach the development and support team members
– Prepare budget plan and control cost of the application development, maintenance and support
– Regular engagement with the business to understand their needs/concerns and develop their plans
– Liaise and manage software vendors to ensure quality deliverables

Requirements
– 5+ years of experience in application project management, development and support in investment banking or securities industry
– Solid experience in multi-asset classes, cash equities in retail brokerage is a must
– Sound track record in project management and coordinating different parties
– Hands-on development or support experience in the past – able to coach the team members
– High motivation and desire to work in a managerial role directly reporting to the COO
– University degree in IT or equivalent
– Strong analytical skills, communication and client-facing skills
– Experience in managing people and career development
– Personal organization and task management; Attention to detail
