My client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their expanding Big Data Project team. The selected candidate will be managing the delivery of the firm’s Big Data Technology (including those hosted on the Cloud). This is a very exciting opportunity to get into one of the hottest technology spaces for the next decade.

Responsibilities:
– Drive the project life cycle of Big Data solutions delivery across the firm including business cases, project initiation and implementation.
– Implement PMO best practices across the project delivery team.
– Manage various stakeholders to drive the project completion and delivery.
– Understand the requirements and specification from project stakeholders. Work with the Development team to deliver the solution proposals, architecture, and design.
– Lead the development team to design the technical details and features of the Big Data platform. Design the technology roadmaps for future scalability. 

Requirements:
– Proven Project experience in Big Data and data warehousing areas.
– Experience in Agile, change management and business transformation.
– Experience in adopting Agile concepts and scrum methodology into a large-scale IT transformation.
– Knowledge of Big Data technology architecture, approaches & concepts
– Hands-on experience in leading the design, development, and implementation of the big data software platform.
– Great communications skills to work with business stakeholders covering analytics, project management, and future IT roadmaps, strategy & advisory.
– Bachelor Degree from a reputable University.
