Our client is a listed company in Hong Kong with a well-established innovative tech team, they are building an enterprise-scale and cloud-based SaaS platform which supports big data streaming. They are now looking for a seasoned backend developer to join their team.

Responsibilities:
As a tech lead, you are responsible for
– leading the engineering team on technical decisions and development to deliver projects end-to-end
– performing technical development in Node.js and AWS
– architectural design and code review
– providing guidance and direction on software engineering across coding practices, design, patterns, deployment, and production support
– maintaining the performance and scalability of product features

Requirements:
– 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development using Node.js or Scala
– Strong experience in enterprise-grade API design
– Experience in Data Handling, Data API for Data Lake
– Experience in using Akka Stream, Spark and Hadoop is a plus
– Expertise in any public cloud technologies and knowledge of CI/CD tools and workflows
– Good communication skills, fluent English/Mandarin and Cantonese are required
