This is an exciting opportunity for a Back-end Developer to join a fast-growing development team in the InsurTech industry. The client is one of the leading InsurTech companies backed by top firms in the world. They are not looking for just another coder, but a passionate visionary.

Responsibilities:
– Build a clean and easy to use API technology platform which allows the application integrating with all the required systems and services.
– Drive the PaaS development and build APIs which share with development teams.
– Write and utilize autonomous services-oriented RESTful API services and performance tuning large scale apps.
– Build database systems across SQL and NoSQL databases.
– Work closely with the team in managing cutting-edge technologies for further development.

Requirements:
– Extensive development background across backend development in languages across Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, C++ etc.
– Experience in developing mobile applications would be a great plus.
– Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and engineering principles like SOLID.
– Experience in database systems, with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase, etc)
– Familiar with Agile and DevOps practice and principle. TDD, CI/CD and other approaches to accelerate software delivery.
– Experience in RESTful APIs would be a great plus.
– Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
– Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
