Our client, a leading insurance group, is looking for an Azure Cloud Platform Engineer. They are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join their expanding team. Perm Position with lots of opportunities.

Responsibilities:
– Support the overall Azure cloud infrastructure on  Cloud, Network, Database, OS, Storage, Backup, etc.
– Participate in technical architecture design and design patterns of the infrastructure platform hosting applications and connections with digital products.
– Work with the development team to tackle the coding and scripting to integrate various application elements such as database and software to run on the system OS and infrastructure.
– Develop and implement automation and maintenance across the Cloud System environments.
– Perform system and network, design, implementation, monitoring, capacity management, and support.
– Manage security-related settings of cloud (AZURE) environment, including compliance with ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and other standards relevant to the industry.
– Optimize performance for cloud applications.

Requirements:
– At least 5 years of System Administration or Engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
– Experience with public cloud platforms preferably with Azure.
– Experience with cloud platform operations including Compute, Storage, Containers, Serverless, Analytics, Database,  Management & Governance, etc.
– Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, and Terraform.
– Good communication skills in English.
– Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University.
