Our client, a leading global insurance is looking for a high caliber Tech Risk Director with broad technical knowledge to support their 2nd level defense across their digital transformation. You will be a lead person to manage the Asia Tech Risk function.

Responsibilities:
– Manage the Technology Governance and Control including Tech Risk governance framework and risk portfolio which manage the cybersecurity threats, IT Protocols, application management practices etc.
– Act as a technology risk SME in supporting the digital transformation journey (e.g. Public Clouds, DevOps, API, third party management etc)
– Manage Cyber Security Assessment including vulnerability scanning and penetration test.
– Identify the cybersecurity risk and potential gaps and impacts across major vulnerabilities in IT systems.
– Provide support to the SOC across monitoring, reporting in response to the security incident and investigations.
– Support internal and external audits. Track the remediation status of the identified gaps and issues.

Requirements:
– At least 10 years of experience in Technology Risk Management and Control with a sizeable financial institution.
– Solid experience in managing technology risk, control, assessment across cybersecurity under the frameworks of ISO 27001, PCI-DSS etc.
– Good leadership and influencing skill, experience in leading a technology risk team.
– A broad technology background across Clouds, DevOps, APIs, mobile etc.
– Experience working with senior-level stakeholders.
– Certifications in CISSP / CISA / CISM is a great plus.
– Regulatory and technology control experience is a great plus.
– Excellent communication skills in English.
– Degree from a Reputable University.
– Flexible with frequent regional travel.
