Our client, an elite global investment bank, is looking for a proven technology infrastructure leader with strong server technology background to join the senior management team in Asia

Responsibilities:
– Manage the Asia computing infrastructure teams and provide strategic direction and leadership for the region
– Oversee and ensure competitive and stable enterprise production environment including engineering/delivery, BAU/incident/problem, process management, risk management, etc.
– Provide technical leadership in the region and represent the regional needs in the global forum
– Develop expansion strategies in the region including staffing strategies, compensation management, promotion, and careeer development
– Provide budget management and oversight of contract/vendor management

Requirements:
– Extensive (10+ years) experience managing distributed infrastructure / technology teams in a mission-critical, enterprise environment
– In-depth technical knowledge in computing/platform technologies including Linux/Unix, database, storage, etc; Must come from a previous technical/hands-on background
– Excellent people management skills; Ability to manage/influence distributed teams
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong stakeholder management skills
– Budgeting / finance management skills
– Detail oriented approach
