Our client, one of the most prestigious financial institutions in the world, are now looking for strong application production support engineer to join their team and help manage and support the business across the region.  This person will cover the bank’s fund and portfolio accounting systems during Asia hours.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide daily functional, operational and technical application support; as well as working closely with the business supporting end user and workflow issues.
– Work closely with the business across APAC as their point of contact for all incidents and issues; as well as the Production Support and Developers for root cause analysis, problem resolution and ensuring all faults / errors are resolved.

Requirements:
– At least 5+ years’ of application support experience from Banking and Finance, ideally with Fund Accounting, Portfolio Account and Transfer Agency (Multifonds).
– Solid technical experience including UNIX scripting / shell, SQL / PLSQL and Perl.
– Strong troubleshooting skills. Programming experience with Java, C++ or VB would be preferred.
– Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
– Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
– Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
