Our client, a leading Global Consumer Electronic Group is looking for an Electronic Mechanical Engineer / Architect to join their product engineering team. The selected candidate will be driving the product creation across design and architecture. Perm role with great development opportunity.

Responsibilities:
– Work with the product design team to translate the product requirements in mechanical architecture, specification, and design.
– Work with the ODM Supplier to realize the product design and development.
– Create product architecture and design, which comply with the global master mechanical design specifications.
– Work with the project manager to drive ODM suppliers to deliver product design.
– Manage the product design which is fulfilling the product quality and reliability targets.

Requirements:
– At least 10 years experience in product development in the consumer electronic industry.
– Strong understanding of the mechanical design especially in the consumer and audio space.
– Solid experience on plastic and metal parts design as well as their manufacturing processes.
– Experience in using DFA and DFM tools. (Design for Assembly and Manufacture)
– Language ability in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
– Bachelor in Engineering Degree from a reputable University.
